2012 Passenger Train Run Schedule

Run days are normally the 1st and 3rd weekends of the month (but here's the entire summer 2012 schedule!):

May 26, 27, 28 Bonus Run Weekend at the track (Memorial Day weekend!)
June 2, 3 Run Weekend at the track
June 16, 17 Run Weekend at the track
July 7, 8 Run Weekend at the track
July 21, 22 Run Weekend at the track
August 4, 5 Run Weekend at the track
August 18, 19 Run Weekend at the track
Sept. 1, 2, 3 Run Weekend at the track (Labor Day weekend!)
Sept. 15, 16 Run Weekend at the track (Night run on Sept 16th!)

Run hours are 10am to 4pm; tickets are a $5 donation per person (cash or check only)
Donations are used for fuel, maintenance, and upkeep of ALS property and equipment for the enjoyment of the public!

General Membership Meeting Notice

NOTICE!

The ALS annual meeting will be held on Saturday, Jan 28, 2012 from 12 noon to 2pm. at the Chugiak United Methodist Church, 16430 Old Glenn Hwy, Chugiak, AK. All members are invited and asked to attend!

Please bring your 2012 membership dues to this meeting if you haven't already sent them in.

This meeting will also be a potluck meeting with the theme being chili, corn bread, chips, and soda pop. Please bring your favorite dish to share with all so we can stay warm in this January cold snap! The club will provide paper plates and bowls, cups, plasticware, and napkins.

The church is located north of Eagle River, AK, about a quarter mile north of the intersection of the Old Glenn Highway and South Birchwood Lp. Rd. Take the South Birchwood exit of the Glenn Hwy and proceed eastbound up the hill about a mile until reaching the Old Glenn Hwy. Turn left at the Old Glenn Hwy and proceed to the church on the left side of the highway. We will be meeting in the downstairs community room.
