Alaska Live Steamers Summer 2014 Membership Drive

Alaska Live Steamers has made it easier to become a member this summer!  Continued through 2014, persons can apply to become members of Alaska Live Steamers, Inc. for a reduced rate of $50 initiation fee (down from the normal $100 initiation fee) plus the normal $25 annual fee.  This reduced initiation fee comes with an agreement to work 8 hours at Alaska Live Steamers helping to grow and improve the Alaska Central Railroad.  Stop by the track to find out about this limited time membership offer!

As usual, regular membership with Alaska Live Steamers allows for unlimited rides for your immediate family on the Alaska Central Railroad, gives you the opportunity to work on one of Alaska's fastest growing railroads, lets you share your enjoyment with trains with like-minded people, allows your creativity and talents to be put to work on a real, live, working railroad, gives you an opportunity to become checked out as an engineer and conductor on our trains, and help share the operation of our railroad to the public!

Engine 3604

Alaska Live Steamers trains and operations have moved to 400 E. Riley Avenue in Wasilla!  ALS has been developing the new property leased from the City of Wasiilla for a few summers now and has finally moved their operations from the old site near the Wasilla Airport to this new site!  There has been much work going into this move by the members of Alaska Live Steamers.  The first loop of track is complete with more track being added as the summer goes on.  Keep coming on back to see the exciting growth at Alaska Live Steamers!

Club Members on a Test RideThe new site should be much closer and easier for people to find.  It is located at the end of a cul-de-sac at 400 W. Riley Ave in Wasilla.  Riley Ave starts at the stoplight at the intersection of Knik-Goose Bay Road and the end of the Palmer-Wasilla Highway.  Just drive on Riley Ave past the Wasilla Assembly of God Church and the MASCOT terminal to the end of Riley Ave.  You should see our sign there.  We are the only stop at the end of Riley Avenue.
